Cornelius Library Walters Gallery Season 2024-25 

 

Submission Deadline: May 15 
Eligibility: We are seeking local artists whose exhibits express pride in the people, places, and things that make Cornelius a special community. The exhibits should reflect the City, honor its diverse population, and complement the library's mission to connect, inspire, and empower all to thrive.

The Cornelius Public Library Walters Gallery offers an opportunity for artists, artist groups, and organizations to exhibit works that reflect the City and honor its diverse population and complements the mission of the library to connect, inspire, and empower all to thrive.  

Exhibitions will be held in the Cornelius Public Library, from August 2024 through July 2025, changing every two months. 

Artists will submit a request to exhibit that includes contact information, letter of interest, exhibit description, artist statement/bio/resume, portfolio/past work samples, and images of the proposed artwork or exhibit materials. 

Artists may be featured in the City Gazette, library newsletter, and social media. Publicity will be in English and Spanish. 

An Art Exhibition Opening Reception may be held on the Friday following the installation of the exhibit.
